Capital City Toastmasters club organized a great and  fun meeting on 24th August, 2018 in Himachal Bhawan, Mandi House New Delhi. It was hosted by TMOD TM Dheeraj Jain. This meeting’s objective was to find out how culturally diverse is our club. He started by explaining what is cultural diversity and how India is full of diverse people. He asked people what background they came from, not just according to their caste; but also professionally. Some are Punjabi, some were Jain etc. People are also very different professionally. We have students, people working in Big Four and businessmen. The TMOD also conducted some games to make the event more engaging and fun. He conducted a game in which people were asked to play with numbers and the people who forgot the numbers were asked to jump that many times. A conclusion was made that one should not judge someone’s culture and should not comment if they do not know about the culture. The guests also enjoyed the meeting as they got to know the fun side of the toastmasters meetings and got to know a lot about everyone and their cultural and professional backgrounds. Overall, it was an outstanding meeting, full of learning and energy throughout the meeting.
