District Conferences
Oration
Oration is the annual conference of District 41 Toastmasters which generally takes place in the month of May. Oration This mega event of three days brings together more than 300 Toastmasters from across India, including entrepreneurs, highest-level executives, students and trainers from the most influential and innovative organisations in India.
Among these participants are 9 of India’s finest Toastmasters who compete for the title of District Champion, who represents India at the semifinals of the World Championship of Public Speaking®. There are also key note speakers and trainers who conduct enriching educational modules for members and guests.
Oration also has finals of the Table Topics Contest.
Division level winners (Table Topics Contest, International Speech Contest) compete to be the District 41 winners.
Resonance
Resonance is the three day semi-annual conference of District 41. Toastmasters and guests from across India gather to learn and share their communication and leadership experiences, through a variety of speeches and interactive sessions. There are also key note speakers and trainers who conduct enriching educational modules for members and guests.
The icings on the cake are the fun events and social get together. This conference also includes the district level Humorous Speech Contest and the Speech Evaluation Contest, in which winners of all Divisions compete to be the District winners
District Officer Training Program
To create a successful District, effective training of District Officers is critical. When district officers are well-trained to perform their duties, members at all levels are better served. Well-trained District Officers are equipped to develop successful and high performing teams. All of these abilities contribute to complete the district mission.
Club Officer Training Programs
To create a successful district, providing effective training for club officers is critical. When club officers are well-trained to perform their duties, members at all levels are better served. Well-trained club officers are equipped to develop successful teams, enhance club quality, and thrive in the Distinguished Club Program. This makes the member experience more positive, which leads to a quality club experience and increased member retention. Without properly trained leaders at club level, clubs cannot meet members’ needs or introduce the benefits of Toastmasters to others.
Club Officers Training Programs are conducted during June-August and December-February every year.
