Leadership can be implemented in little ways to uplift, empower each living soul in this world. And, that is the true beauty of being a leader.
Leadership has its own perks. The greatest of which is EMPOWERMENT.
Empowerment is the process of letting oneself or others become stronger and more confident. And, it is not about accomplishing big deeds. At times small acts of leadership also empower one from within. Standing up for oneself in this big bad world empowers one’s soul. Standing up for one’s family strengthens bonds. Women moving out of their houses to work full time to earn money and feed hungry
mouths empowers them with self-respect and earns them the title of breadwinner in the family. This act provides them the space to take decisions and have a say in the family.
However, some people misuse the power they have been entrusted with. They become overconfident and overbearing when they taste the essence of leadership. They forget to empower and entrust.
